Tips for Dog Training and Travel Stories
Welcome! My name is Silke Vestlev, and I’m a dog trainer and full-time traveler.
I grew up in Denmark but have been traveling full-time since 2018 with my family and my two dogs, Yuna and Sulaima.
I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember—they’ve always been my biggest passion.
As a traveler, I’ve also spent a lot of time living at an animal refuge in Spain, where I’ve trained and cared for many dogs, donkeys, wild boars, and other animals. There, I learned a great deal about caring for different animals and helping them heal from trauma.
What started as a hobby has grown into a calling: today I advise people on everything from choosing the right dog for their family to training, and helping dogs who are fearful or aggressive.

My doggies
Yuna
Yuna is a mix between a Chinese Crested and a Coton De Tulear. She was born in 2017 and has always been a very calm dog.
She likes to keep an eye on what’s going on and has a special fondness for sofas, cardboard boxes, and plastic bags. She’s great with small puppies and newborn animals—and she looks better in sunglasses than most.
Sulaima
Sulaima is a Toy Poodle, born in 2022. She’s a very happy little dog who loves everyone she meets. She has so much love to give, it can barely fit in her tiny three-kilo body.
She loves sitting on someone’s lap, but she also loves being outside and going on exciting new walks. Most people adore her when they meet her—almost as much as she adores them.
